Our blog is ready!

As you can see, the IGNITE @ Brooklands blog is all set to go.

As teachers who will be running IGNITE Camps in their classrooms over the next few weeks, I'd like all of you to experience blogging first-hand.

We'll be using this blog to post questions for our students to consider. All students will be asked to reflect on their learning experiences as they take part in IGNITE camp. Through responding to our questions on this blog, their reflections will be shared with the entire IGNITE community.

Encouraging our students to blog will accomplish many things. As students explore blogging and respond to each other's comments, we should see some interesting things happening. The students who take part in IGNITE Camp will have many opportunities to present and share their work with a larger audience than they are used to...

While taking part in the two days of training at M.E.C.Y., you will be shown how to access this blog, how to post comments to this blog, and we'll also talk a little bit about subscribing to blogs in general :-)

Welcome to IGNITE @ Brooklands!
Andy

Comments:
During our training session, we'll discuss many different aspects of blogging with students...

IGNITE is going to be fun!

Ignite camp is going to be incredible! The students are going to have a great time and explore so many different things! I can't wait for them to have this opportunity! Mrs. H

I am so excited to learn more about blogging and share it with our class! IGNITE camp is going to be awesome!

I have had so much fun at the Ignite training session; it has really made me excited about our camp in November. The students are going to love this camp! I only hope that they find as much joy in the camp as I have in the training sessions leading up to it! This will be a blast!

meow...

So, looks like the Brooklands 4/5 teachers are becoming LEGO experts!

So you can teach old dogs new tricks?!!?

We're still waiting to find out, Mr. FB :-) So far, we've only had to teach the young pups ;-)
